"Luigi must go home"

Lecture by Martin Buschmann and Gereon Roemer

Two men and a Fiat 500 named "Luigi" with the mission "Luigi must go home." And where is home? In Sicily. Martin and Gereon recount a road trip full of experiences in their lectures, which they will present in various cities throughout Germany this year, 2025. The Fiat 500 IG Munich attended in Wolfratshausen in January 2025. Our conclusion: ...it was one of the best events in a long time. Informative, funny, interesting, dreamy, and a truly powerful presentation. We highly recommend this lecture. Highly recommended. I've provided links to the lecture cities below.

A new section in the gallery

We'll be posting videos of our activities from time to time in the future. It's a must. Here's an excerpt from our "shoot" at an old gas station from 1969 (recently rebuilt) in the Glentleiten Open-Air Museum. On July 24, 2022, we met for a Weißwurst breakfast in Benediktbeuern, then continued on to the Glentleiten Open-Air Museum. Finally, we stopped off for a burger in Bad Tölz. – by Angie Schlegel –

Lost bike!

The accident and its consequences by Angie Schlegel

On the way to Mühldorf am Inn for a filming shoot for GRIP (Motor Magazine), my right rear tire fell off at 80 km/h near the Allianz Arena in Munich. The tire with the quick-release axle, that is. A lot of guardian angels were at work to ensure that nothing happened to me or the other road users. I saw the tire bounce in the rearview mirror. I was overtaking and had to move from the left lane to the right lane, onto the hard shoulder. Here's the article about the problem and what unexpected problems lay ahead. – by Angie Schlegel –
